Hotel/Condo

Seatime Condominiums, Ocean City Maryland

Balcony view
Reviewing a condo is a little tricky.  While the 50 or 100 condos in a unit may be managed by the same company, each unit is owned individually.  In some respects then, the review reflects more on the management company.

Leisure Time Management manages the Seatime condominiums in Ocean City, Maryland.
Seatime condos can be called a beach-front property, although, technically, it is separated by a parking lot and dead-end, paved alley.  It is an easy walk to the shore.
Panoramic view ocean/bay

901N is a corner unit and has a view of the ocean on one side and the bay on the other.  Short of having a full-on view of the ocean, I would consider this pretty close to an ideal view from the balcony.  A generous view of the ocean and panoramic view of Ocean City and the bay made the extra money we paid for a condo (rather than a hotel) worth every penny.  We more than made up the difference of a hotel stay in food costs with the full kitchen and full-sized appliances.  While we ate out a couple of times, preparing home cooked meals was fun and made the condo affordable.

Full-sized appliances
The one bedroom unit included a stacked washer/dryer, generous living room with a queen hide-a-bed, full sized kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, ceramic topped stove and oven, toaster (which did not work) dishwasher, can opener, dishes, cookware, flatware and ample serving bowls, knives (not sharp), a few comfortable chairs inside and patio furniture on the deck.  The condo provides plenty of bath and dish towels, wash cloths, dish and dishwasher soap, bed linens, pillows (lots of pillows) a roll of paper towels and a couple rolls of toilet tissue.  The bedroom included two queen sized beds, dressers, full closet and bedside table with drawers. There is also a full closet in the front hall with a table-top ironing board, iron and vacuum.  The unit would easily sleep 6 people. No maid service is provided but with the washer/dryer who needs it?

Life Guard on-duty
Seatime has a decent sized pool with a lifeguard and a tiny baby pool (used to be a Jacuzzi?).   The pool is well maintained and there ample chaise lounge chairs with cushions.  A separate raised area provides more chairs and an open space for sunbathers.

The condo is not new and shiny but well maintained and the staff is generally pleasant, although folks in the eastern U.S. are not the same warm-fuzzy, hospitable creatures you find in the South or Midwest. Still, they are efficient and friendly enough.

This is a place I would stay again.  If I changed anything, it would be the cleaning crew.  There were some problem areas which did not amount to much in the overall satisfaction of the vacation but a good deep cleaning and more attention to detail would do wonders for 901N, Seatime Condominiums, Ocean City, Maryland.
